Schlingnatter is a stainless steel optical frame with a distinctly softer and more flowing shape than the other metal styles in the collection. The lenses are rounded with a gentle horizontal stretch, creating an organic silhouette that feels calm and well-balanced rather than graphic. The thin metal rim follows the lens contour closely, giving the frame a light and almost floating appearance on the face. The bridge is softly curved and placed to maintain an even visual rhythm across the front, contributing to the frame’s relaxed expression. From the side, the slim temples reveal finely engraved anchor iron details, a subtle reference to the anchor irons found throughout Gamla Stan and Vasuma’s heritage. These engravings are precise and understated, integrated seamlessly into the metal surface. Acetate temple tips with a snake skin pattern add contrast and texture, providing a tactile finish to the otherwise minimal construction. Schlingnatter is available in Gold and Gold/Black, where the Gold/Black version features a thin black front combined with gold metal elements. The result is a unisex frame that emphasizes softness, balance, and refined detailing through its distinctive rounded form.
